Each scarf comes as the middle pages of it own Little Book of the Scarf which includes drawings/ suggestions to tying in different styles and the front cover can be personalised with the recipient's name in gold.

This scarf is designed by Wue and handcrafted in Macclesfield - the home of silk. Macclesfield is situated in the North West of England and is inextricably linked to silk weaving and printing.

In 1261 King Edward I granted Macclesfield a Royal Charter and the very earliest products from the town were silk thread and silk covered buttons handmade by local home-workers.

In 1755, the first silk mill was established which changed the production of silk in Macclesfield forever. At its peak in 1832 Macclesfield had 71 silk mills operating and was the world's biggest producer of finished silk.

Although many of those early mills are now gone, Macclesfield remains globally renowned for producing beautiful printed and woven silk steeped in history.
